Matthew Arkapaw

Senior Pastor

Matthew joined MOBC in 2007 from Hornsby Heights, where he had worked as pastor of the Baptist Church for 4 years. He studied at Moore Theological College and Morling Baptist College, having already trained and worked as a high school teacher. Matthew is married to Deborah and they have three children.

Eliseo Juan-Ramirez

Associate Pastor for Outreach

Eliseo moved to MOBC from Kings Park Community Church in 2016, where he served as their youth pastor for over 5 years. Eliseo did his theological training at Emmaus Bible College and had a background in sales and event management prior to becoming a Pastor. Eliseo served as MOBC's Pastor for Youth and Young Adults for 7 years before becoming our Associate Pastor for Outreach. Eliseo is married to Laura and they have four children.

Team Leader: Children & Families

Rita joined the MOBC team in 2019. Prior to vocational ministry, Rita worked in customer relations and as a music tutor. Along with her husband Vincent and three children, she has been attending MOBC since 2005.

Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy

Team Leader: Youth and Young Adults

Tim came to MOBC in 2024 following his MTS Apprenticeship at Park Road Anglican Church in Carlton. Tim graduated from Ridley College after spending two years in the United States at Biola University. Prior to full-time vocational ministry, Tim held a number of jobs all over the retail and service industry.

Wendy Marriott

Office Manager

Wendy joined the MOBC team in 2024 with a background in audiovisual communication and administration. She took The Bridge gap year with Sydney Missionary and Bible College in 2017 and actively volunteers in youth ministry.
 
The secreterial role works with the Administration portfolio to support MOBC's operations.

Glynnis Nelson

Glynnis Nelson

Bookkeeper

Glynnis joined the MOBC team in 2024 as the bookkeeper with an accounting background. She attends MOBC with her husband Nick and two teenage sons.

The bookkeeping role works with the Administration portfolio to manage MOBC’s accounts.
