Online Service

Welcome to MOBC's online Sunday service. While we have started holding in-person Sunday services again, we recognise the value in providing an online service for those who are unable to attend in-person. This simply liturgy mirrors the in-person services as much as possible. We pray that it'll be a blessing to you in your worship of God.

Simply follow the order of service, clicking on the video links as appropriate.

Welcome & Notices — 20th September

For hundreds of years Christians have used music and singing to praise and worship God. We hope you enjoy listening to the song below. You might even like to sing along.

We Are His People

We we are God's people
Once dead in our sin and now
Raised up with Christ in heaven
God rich in His mercy
Made us all alive in Christ
Seated with Him forever

By grace we are saved through faith
Not from us but God
Not our works or boasting
By grace we are saved through faith
Not from us but God
Not our works or boasting
By grace

We we are God's people
Once once who were far away
Saved by the blood of Jesus
Now we are His temple
Filled filled with His Spirit made
For doing good in Jesus

Enlightenment · 1 Thessalonians 5v1-11

Prayer of Praise

Almighty God, you are holy and just God. Your love is a holy love; you must treat our sin as it deserves, otherwise you would betray your own character. You cannot ignore anything that dishonours your glory or disobeys your voice; it would be evil for you to do so. Thank you that in his death Jesus received the penalty for the sins of those who trust him. Thank you that the Day of the Lord will bring justice to the earth, and the fullness of your presence to your people. Let us live in the light of the certain day.

Prayers of Intercession

Pray about the following matters:
  • That Christians would live lives that are contented and happy in holiness, knowing that Christ has prepared them for the day he returns to raise the dead and pass judgement on all life.
  • For those who don’t believe that God will hold them accountable for their response to Him, and for those who don’t believe in God at all. Ask that their eyes would be opened.
  • Thanking God for his generous love in providing you with daily food, friends, family, purpose, rest, life, and love.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Come People of the Risen King

Come people of the Risen King
Who delight to bring Him praise
Come all and tune your hearts to sing
To the Morning Star of grace
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to Him
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in

Rejoice rejoice let ev'ry tongue rejoice
One heart one voice
O Church of Christ rejoice

Come those whose joy is morning sun
And those weeping through the night
Come those who tell of battles won
And those struggling in the fight
For His perfect love will never change
And His mercies never cease
But follow us through all our days
With the certain hope of peace

Come young and old from ev'ry land
Men and women of the faith
Come those with full or empty hands
Find the riches of His grace
Over all the world His people sing
Shore to shore we hear them call
The truth that cries through ev'ry age
Our God is all in all

Revelation 22:17, 21

The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let all who hear say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let them come; and whoever wishes, let them take the free gift of the water of life. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

An important part of the Christian's worship of God is the giving of their finances. We understand that in the current climate many people's ability to give will be seriously compromised. Those people are very much in our prayers. If you are in a position to maintain your weekly giving then we encourage you to give by electronic funds transfer to:

BSB: 704-922
Account #: 100 002 831
Name: MOBC Offering
