Someone once described children as ‘the church of tomorrow’, and while that's true they're also the church of today.
MOBC offers activities for children of all ages, including mid-week clubs and a specially designed kids' program on Sunday mornings. All those who work with children are required to complete the appropriate Working with Children Check and expected to conform to the church’s Child Safe, Child Friendly policy.
Our aim is that every child should feel welcome and enjoy learning about Jesus Christ, in a safe environment.
Kidzone is for children who attend the Sunday morning service. Groups for preschoolers, children in K-2, 3-4, and 5-6 offer age appropriate fun, games, music, and learning.
Kids' Club is an activity for primary school aged children from K-6. Running on Monday evenings during the school term, from 6:30-8:00pm, a program of games, craft, and Bible teaching will mean all children have a fun time. Entry costs just $2 per week and includes supper.
Mainly Music runs on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00am and provides an environment where preschool children develop skills through the use of music, rhythm, rhyme, and other music-related activities, with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver. Unfortunately the Mainly Music waiting list is currently full, and so no new applications are being accepted.
Playtime runs on Thursdays, from 10.00-11.30am, and is a fun morning of free play for children and their parents or carers. Activities are organised and toys are provided, along with morning tea.
